Public submissions
Comments we file in public consultations are published here as sent. Each proposes replacement text for one specific gap: a documentation template or examination questionnaire that asks how a system was evaluated but not what bar it had to clear, or when that bar was fixed.
2026
- NIST AI 300-1 ipd, Guidance and Templates for Public-Facing AI Documentation — four comments; optional subfield 6.5-(*).4 "Pre-specified Evaluation Criteria". Sent 9 September 2026.
- NAIC AI Risk Evaluation Supplement v5.0 — two comments; Exhibit C field for pre-deployment acceptance criteria, Exhibit B item 3a addition. Filed 9 September 2026.
What we ask for, every time
One optional field: the acceptance criteria a system was required to meet, when they were fixed, and what record establishes that they were fixed before the results were known. The proposals are vendor-neutral and name no product as a requirement. We publish them because the question matters more than the tool.
Upcoming windows we are watching
- NIST AI 200-2 ipd, TEVV-Athlon framework (comments to 6 October 2026)
- NAIC AI Risk Evaluation Supplement v6.0 (two-week exposure expected October 2026)
